The God Who Strips Us Back to Truth

There comes a moment in every soul’s journey when God stops whispering… and begins removing.

Not because He is punishing us,

not because we have failed,

but because He loves us too deeply to let us live one more day trapped in illusions.

We spend years running —

into relationships, careers, money, travel, distractions, posting, pleasing, performing…

anything that keeps us from feeling the truth of our own lives.

And then, in His strange and holy mercy, God says:

“Enough.”

Enough pretending.

Enough escaping.

Enough abandoning the real you.

So He begins the sacred dismantling.

One person disappears.

A resource dries up.

A support system collapses.

Doors close.

Silence enters.

Life contracts, not to crush you, but to bring you back to yourself.

Because the greatest danger is not addiction to substances —

it is the addiction to running away from your own soul.

When God takes everything away,

He is not destroying you.

He is removing every false pillar you leaned on

so that you can finally see what is real.

And this is where the trembling begins.

The shaking in the body.

The right side pulsing with stored memories.

The old grief rising like waves.

The nausea of years of self-betrayal pushing up from the stomach.

The tightness, the throbbing, the heaviness —

all the places where unspoken truth has been hiding.

This is not punishment.

This is release.

This is the soul vomiting out what the mind refused to face.

It feels like death because, in many ways, it is.

It is the crucifixion of the false self —

the self that performed, pleased, posted, pretended, and ran.

But on the other side of that inner death

lies the resurrection of the truest version of you.

When everything falls silent,

you finally hear God’s voice.

When everyone falls away,

you finally see people as they truly are.

When the world stops spinning,

you finally meet yourself honestly.

This is God’s will:

Truth. Authenticity. Alignment.

He wants us honest with Him,

honest with others,

and most of all —

honest with ourselves.

And sometimes the only way back to honesty

is through the holy stripping away.

God removes to reveal.

He empties to rebuild.

He breaks us open to set us free.

And the moment you whisper,

“Lord, show me Your way, Your truth, and Your will for my life,”

He answers —

not with comfort,

but with clarity.

Because now,

for the first time,

you are still enough to see.

And this is where your real life begins.

You see I realise that God just loves me so much ..He just wants me to be myself…
