Not everyone gets to experience a slow morning, and I feel incredibly lucky to be in a position where I can. It’s a privilege to wake up without rushing, to sit in quiet prayer, to meditate, and to honor my emotions before the day begins. This sacred time sets the tone for the entire day—a moment to reconnect, breathe, and simply be.
Slow mornings are an act of self-love. They start with gratitude: thanking God for life, for breath, and for the stillness to reflect. They continue with self-honoring, asking, “What do you need today? What can I do to make you happy?” These simple but profound questions shift everything. They replace chaos with calm, pressure with peace, and neglect with deep care.
For too long, I’ve rushed through mornings, punishing myself with rigid routines or escaping into busyness. Now, as the year comes to a close, I’ve decided to give myself what I’ve always needed: gentleness, presence, and the space to feel my emotions fully.
When you allow yourself to embrace slow mornings, a kind of inner peace emerges. It’s not something you find outside—it’s born from within. It stays with you throughout the day, like a soothing massage for your soul.
No more rushing. No more escaping. Just stillness, love, and the realization that it’s all good—and it always will be.
