I Had Difficulty Trusting God

Letting go and surrendering to a higher power has been a significant struggle for me over the years. Although I’ve always been aware of a higher power and believed that He is in control, I never experienced this loving God during my childhood, despite having pious parents.

Growing up in environments filled with pain, abuse, anger, and unhappiness can make it difficult to believe in the existence of a benevolent God. Consequently, we often feel the need to control our lives and our happiness. We question God’s presence during our times of pain, heartache, and turmoil, wondering where He was when we needed Him the most. Does He not care? Many of us associate peace, love, and happy times with God, and if we don’t experience these feelings, we assume He does not exist.

But in reality, God is with us in our pain and turmoil. He has never abandoned us. It is human beings who create and cause pain in others, not God. God is good, loving, gentle, peaceful, and kind.

The greatest hypocrisy comes from so-called pious people who pray but then engage in destructive, cruel, and abusive behavior towards others. In those moments, they worship Satan, not God. People choose to do bad things; God does not tell us to do bad things.

We need our good God to protect us against Satan and its evil forces. Satan does exist, dont ever be fooled into thinking he does not .

Trusting in God means recognizing that He is with us, even in our darkest times, and understanding that human actions, not divine will, are the sources of our pain. Through this understanding, we can begin to let go and surrender to a higher power, finding peace in the knowledge that God is always with us, guiding and protecting us… we need only turn to him..

Faith is not an intellectual experience, it s of the spirit , of the subconscious..
